Strategy Update




One element that was lost during "optimization" that I always wanted to bring back was the Army reserve element. I feel like thats what makes the game have strategy.
So I added it back in, so that it was simpler and less laggy. Now, after doing an attack, the soldiers in that attack are engaged until the end of the turn. This means if you want to have 5 attacks in a turn, you need to split up your armies between those 5 attacks. I added this mechanic for boats and planes as well. In the future we will add more depth to this element. Hopefully we can find a way to increase the number of attacks per turn, with some type of "ready" system instead of the current 5 attacks system with a pass button. We may also add a "tactical retreat", which would use up attacks (maybe 1 or 2) but would move reserve troops back to active.
Overall, this is a pretty big update to the games strategy.
